McBride Elementary School in accordance with the Lee vs. Macon Consent Decree of 2000 and NCLB provides support for students with academic, behavioral or attendance concerns through the Building Based Student Support Team (BBSST). This team consists of faculty members, a counselor, and an administrator and meets on a regular basis.

At McBride Elementary School our goals are to:

provide a curriculum which lays the foundation for life-long learning and productive citizenship.

provide a reading environment where all students read at or above grade level and develop a love of reading.
